For time:

10 snatches

15 burpee box jump-overs

20 snatches

15 burpee box jump-overs

30 snatches

15 burpee box jump-overs

40 snatches

15 burpee box jump-overs

50 snatches

15 burpee box jump-overs

M: 50-lb. dumbbell / 24-in. box

F: 35-lb. dumbbell / 20-in. box

Time cap: 20 minutes
This was the first workout of the 2017 CrossFit Open so I know a bunch of you remember and/or have your scores logged!



You must alternate every rep on the dumbbell snatch. So on the set of 10 you end up doing 5 on each side, but alternating every rep.



On the burpee box jump overs, for it to be completely RX you must actually jump on the box – if you need to and you don’t care about “RX” then stepping up and down is fine!



For each of those reps you need to be facing the box, jump with 2 feet onto the box and over.



A good solid time is in the 14-18 min range so choose a weight and style of box jump that you think will allow you to finish under 20 mins
